Gateway is a platform that aims to provide a user-sovereign model for digital identity and credential management. It places autonomy and privacy first, by allowing users to control over their credentials, their access and permissions.

The platform uses the Arweave network to store credential data, allowing for greater encryption over individual data sets. This enables users to gate their digital identity and protect their digital rights.

Gateway credentials are composable, which means that their existence can be verified on-chain and minted on any chain, while its information remains off-chain. This allows for greater usage across web3.
