Goki

What is Goki?

Goki is a suite of programs designed to provide key management and security for Solana, a high-performance blockchain platform. It currently includes two main programs: the Goki Smart Wallet and the Token Signer.

The Goki Smart Wallet is a wallet based on the Serum implementation, which allows users to create, manage, and audit multisig wallets on Solana. It is designed to embrace the concept of gradually increasing decentralization, allowing ownership to shift from centralized to increasingly more decentralized accounts as the project progresses.

The Token Signer, on the other hand, allows users to sign transactions by holding an NFT or tokens. This feature is intended to provide an additional layer of security for transactions.

Goki's intended use case is to start by using a local wallet for development, then move to a hardware wallet like a Ledger once the project becomes more serious. When the project is ready for mainnet/production, users can switch to the multisig wallet. Once the project has gained sufficient traction, the NFTs can be sent to the DAO. Overall, Goki is a suite of programs designed to provide a safe and user-friendly way to manage admin keys on Solana.
